JNP Coffee is a producer, exporter, and importer of green coffee from Burundi. The company began in 2012, but its history with Burundi goes much further back. The founder, Jeanine Niyonzima-Aroian, is herself Burundian-born and raised. Inspired by these deep ties to Burundi, JNP Coffee has built a successful business based on the quality potential of the coffees and the enterprising farmers who care for them. The coffee growers in Burundi are their partners, and they, too, must share in the success. JNP Coffee’s mission is to transform lives in Burundi by shifting social norms through the production of exceptional coffees for the global market, sharing premium prices with coffee farmers, and giving women the tools to be self-sufficient through ownership rights and access to education.
